Hilary-Binder-AvilesHilary Binder-Aviles, Documentation and Evaluation Coordinator.  Hilary serves as a consultant to the network on documentation and evaluation. A long-time resident of the District of Columbia, Hilary brings close to 25 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector to build the capacity of organizations and coalitions engaged in community and systems change work. She has experience in planning and evaluation; board development; fundraising; and policy analysis, advocacy, and community organizing. Hilary is especially passionate about creating spaces for young people to tell their truths and develop the tools to be change agents. She was co-founder and volunteer Executive Director of Sol & Soul (DC) and a founding board member of Voices Unbroken (South Bronx), both grassroots arts and activist organizations that nurture the voices of young people. She is also on the Advisory Board of MOMIES TLC, a social justice-focused after-school program for children in DC. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wellesley College and a Master’s in Public Policy from the John F.
